Tastemates

Tastemates is an app to find other users who share your same tastes in movies and TV shows. You can see what they recommend, check lists, and talk to them directly.

The app works in a very simple way: First you go into Tastemates and pick out a few movies and series that you really like. Then the app tells you who among the other users likes the same things you do. That creates your timeline.

The timeline in Tastemates collects all the recommendations made by people who like the same movies and series as you. Likewise, you can make your own recommendations there, too. Seen a movie you really liked recently? Leave the name and comment on it, so your Tastemates can watch it too.

Another interesting thing about Tastemates is that you can chat with the rest of the users. Naturally, you can also block unwanted conversations at any time, but in general this is a good way to exchange opinions with users who might share your ideas.
